Choose Your Own Adventure: Chapter 2

Okay... so before I start the next chapter, I need to say something. This is a Choose Your Own Adventure story. But, I cannot know what you want to do next unless you vote on the poll. So please, vote for the decision this chapter.

Thank You! :)

The little girl has picked up her goldfish bowl. She turns to face you. "So, you're actually my latest sitter? I'm surprised people are still coming."

You raise your eyebrows, considering backing out. "You look like a very nice little girl. Why don't your babysitters like you?"

Philadelphia laughs in a way that makes you even more nervous. As you look warily at her, you think you see the goldfish laughing too. Not surprising, considering you also saw it talk and climb a tree. the girl stops laughing, but the easy grin on her face continues to make you feel uneasy. "I'm what my parents call... a caretaker's nightmare. Although, I consider myself an adventurous individual."

The front door to the house slams shut behind two very frazzled looking adults. The mother of your charge sees you talking to her daughter and smiles warmly, "Oh you're here. I'm afraid I don't have time to give you the tour, but there's a floor plan and emergency numbers on the dining room table, as well as instructions as well as our cellphone numbers and the number of the restaurant and theatre we'll be at."

Her husband waves good-bye to Philadelphia and gives you a grateful look, "Thank-you."

After they drive away, the little girl grins at you. "Can we go on a walk to my favourite park? It's just down the road."

What do you answer? Vote on the poll to select the course of my next chapter (PLEASE)!

Choose Your Own Adventure: Chapter 1

You're babysitting an eight year-old girl named Philadelphia today. You've never met her before, but all her past babysitters say she's a handful. As you walk up to the address you were given, you see a girl watching her goldfish climb a small tree. Her left hand is purple, her right hand is red, her face is green, and between the tops of her mismatched socks and the hem of her jeans you can see that each of her ankles are different colours of the rainbow too.

The goldfish reaches the top, then jumps down into the fishbowl under the tree. "Now that I've shown you I can climb trees, can we go back inside?"

The girl rolls her eyes and looks at you. "You must be the latest babysitter. My parents will be extremely happy to see you."

(See poll to choose what happens next! If you don't vote, I don't know what to write next... I know that people have been reading this, but no one's voting. I know that because I watched my mother vote, and there's still only that one vote.)

Also, feel free to comment if you want another option! :)
